So, you have an invention, maybe? Just a vague idea, possibly. We all do - we all have a suggestion to improve something, or make a new device. Write it down. Now!  If you want to get into an inventor's mindset, carry either a little notebook, or an audio memo recorder. Record those little gems, and the date, as soon as they hit you. You will be amazed at what starts to happen. You will discover that you view your environment quite differently.

As Winston Churchill said "A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty". Maybe he confused optimist with inventor.

Charles Brower said "A new idea is delicate. It can be killed by a sneer or a yawn; it can be stabbed to death by a joke, or worried to death by a frown on the right person's brow".

We say:

"A new idea is indeed delicate, and should be nurtured by an encouraging word, a smile, a positive comment. It will live with a little encouragement, and some respected guidance - it will then grow into a bigger, better, or more useful idea. The gentle application of humor spawns new and unexpected directions, and improvements to the original surface." This is where we can help - we nurture ideas.

Usually, ideas wither and fade. This is sad. Our strategy is to keep ideas alive long enough to determine what value there may be, but no longer. A critical skill is the ability to recognize when an idea should be abandoned - equally, when an idea needs to be aggressively pursued.

Howard Aiken said "Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throat".

We will (under NDA, of course) help you review your idea, to refine it, and to explore evolution strategies. We can suggest the next steps, and help you evaluate whether it is right to move forward. We can help you, or a small group, in a fun exploration of options. We can even help you start with a blank sheet of paper, and end up with something - we cannot predict what. We can, however, predict that it will be a fun activity.

We are firm believers in the value and power of humor, and its benefits as a vital part of creative process.  We use it as the keystone of our work philosophy. We believe there is no better way to create positive, active working relationships in a team environment.
